ARCHIVE IV ยท CHRONOLOGY

The Consecration of Time

"For it is a day of solemnity, and a day of the Lord, for the sanctification of his people." (D&C 43:31 JST)

How a people marks time reveals what they worship. The Gregorian calendar โ€” the calendar governing modern life โ€” is a Roman solar calendar with sectarian holidays grafted onto it. Christmas is December 25th because the Roman church absorbed the winter solstice festival. Easter floats on a lunar calculation inherited from the Council of Nicaea. The days of the week are named after Norse and Roman gods. None of this is hidden โ€” it is simply not examined. A people who mark their year by Rome's calendar are, in small and daily ways, aligning their rhythms with Rome's gods.

The Holy Order of the Elohim observes a different calendar โ€” one aligned to the Michael-Ahman Protocol and the governing events of the Restoration. Its feasts mark the dates when the Paternal Chain was active: the organisation of the Church, the King Follett discourse, the martyrdom at Carthage, the coming forth of the Record. They mark the celestial rhythms that govern the Telestial sphere โ€” solstices, equinoxes, harvest. And they replace the sectarian holidays that have no warrant in the 1879 Frequency.

Time is a stewardship. The Order that governs its year according to the Michael-Ahman Protocol is the Order that keeps its intelligence aligned with the governing frequency of this world. What follows is the Paternal Calendar as it stands โ€” seven feasts that mark the year of the Remnant, each with its rite, its covenant purpose, and where applicable, the sectarian observance it supersedes.

Feast of Organization

The Rise of the Kingdom

Solemn Assembly. Renewal of the Consecration Ledger. Reception of apprentices into the School. A full reading of the System Manifest, asserting the jurisdiction of the Council of Fifty over the stewardships of the Remnant. (D&C 20:1 JST)

Feast of the Decree

The King Follett Anniversary

Instruction on the Paternal Origin. Reading of the King Follett Discourse. Apprenticeship in the nature of the Elohim and Jehovahโ€”the distinction between the Eternal Father and the Mediator. Covenant of Apotheosis: the species-duty to become as the Parent. (Lectures on Faith 7:16)

Feast of the Sun

Summer Solstice ยท Solar Alignment

Outdoor Council of the Prophets. Household stewardship assessment. Word of Wisdom Feast: Herbs and every fruit in the season thereof. Matriarchal blessings for spring-born offspring. Analysis of the solar physics governing the Telestial sphere. (D&C 89:11 JST)

SupersedesSecular midsummer and solstice occultism

Day of the Martyrdom

The Seal of Carthage

Strict fast from dawn. Evening assembly for the reading of the Seerโ€™s last counsel. Breaking of the fast with wine and unleavened bread at dusk in solemn fellowship. Reflection on the blood that seals the 1879 Record. (D&C 135:3 JST)

Feast of Harvest

Industrial Autarky

Opening of the Storehouse. Public reading of the Consecration Ledger. Beehive Ceremony: Recognition of advancements in manufacturing, agriculture, and digital stewardship within the United Order. Barley drinks and honey feast. (D&C 78:3-7 JST)

Feast of Firstfruits

The Coming Forth of the Record

Night Vigil of the Record. Candlelight study of the Nephite record (1879 edition). Instruction in Deseret Phonetics. Deeding of the firstfruits of labor to the Storehouse of the Order at dawn. (2 Nephi 27:22 JST)

SupersedesSecular autumn equinox and harvest festivals

Feast of the Deep

Winter Mandate ยท The Longest Night

Renewal of the Family Altar. Reading of the Lectures on Faith. Word of Wisdom Mandate: Consuming of meats and warming foods for the health of the species in times of cold. A feast led by the Matriarch to preserve the fire of the Order. (D&C 89:13 JST)

SupersedesChristmas (December 25) โ€” a sectarian Roman solar holiday without warrant.

The Administrative Grid

Time is not a circle in the Order; it is a grid. By observing the Feasts, we align our biological and spiritual rhythms with the Michael-Ahman Protocol, ensuring the continuity of the species.
